Pit People Ending

Pit People’s life is extended by an ever-rotating selection of side quests, and there’s the eponymous Pit, which is an arena in which you can play solo or co-op battles against waves of AI.

Hockey rules. I came back to finish the campaign once the game was fully released and I must say. The last mission where the great finale is supposed to happen just feels.rushed? The cutscenes have significantly declined in quality, moreso being slideshows than actual animation. And the big final fight is just another wave style mob slaying session.

There's no epic bossfight, and the ending itself just seems like a bit of a cop out with where the story goes. I would really like to know if the dev's were actually rushed to finish the game, because it definetely appears that way. The last quarter of the story just turned out to be a big dissapointment for me, its a real shame if they were rushed to finish it because I grew quite attatched to the characters and what was going to happen. 4 Years of development doesn't seem rushedIt's so weird to me people are judging this game based on a single quest-lineThis game is by far the biggest game they ever made, with more gameplay, content, and lore/story. Compared to all their past games, but people conveniently forget that.I'm not seeing why it's such a game breaker for some peopleIs it because their past games has been one linear story, you've gotten used to that, and now this is suddenly bad for not being like that?

I'm just not getting it. We're not banging on the entire game, just a few strands of missions that just so happen to be the most important missions- the final quests in a story mode. I'd honestly guess that they ran short of time they could spend on the game since it never has had a massive following.

The game is good and I have enjoyed it quite a bit pre-release and after myself. But it does seem to struggle to keep a really active player base, so I could them placing less effort into the storyline in order to flesh out more content instead.

Game

That way we got more fancy quests and cosmetics to collect rather than a shinier end of the story.I think if the cutsenes at the end had just a bit more polish it'd feel smoother without any giant changes and help mend this issue for some.
