I am a big fan of Divinity 2 as well, but I don't think it needs a remaster or a sequel. In regards to a remaster, the game still looks fine. It's not going to win any awards for the way it looks, but it runs at 60FPS, the characters look plenty human, and the animations are by no means terrible. As for a sequel, I don't particularly care what genre the game that ends the Damian saga is. The most recent Divinity games are slowly gearing up for the final confrontation with Damian, as D:OS2 and Fallen Heroes bridge the gap between DD and Divinity 2, meaning D:OS3 will probably be a direct sequel to Divinity 2. Larian has really hit their stride making turn-based RPGs, and the Divinity series is still going strong. Now don't get me wrong, I would love a new good action-RPG with transformation mechanics (especially with better ones than Divinity 2's admittedly lackluster dragon mechanics), but I don't think that game necessarily needs to be a Larian game, or even a Divinity game.I would love a spiritual successor of Divinity 2, but I don't find a need for there to be a direct successor.
